How the course works
Phase I: 50-Day Challenge (This Course)
- We start small: tones, numbers, and simple self-introductions.
- Then I’ll give you a clear picture of how Chinese really works—but always wrapped inside everyday conversations and useful vocabulary.
- With just 10 minutes a day, you’ll comfortably finish in about 2 months. If you give yourself 30 minutes a day, you’ll get there in just 1 month.
By the end, you will:
✔️ Understand the basics of Chinese sentence structure
✔️ Recognize and use tones correctly
✔️ Know 200+ characters
✔️ Introduce yourself and describe your daily life
✔️ Hold simple conversations with friends or strangers
Phase II: 70-Day Adventure (Handbook II)
- Each day gets a little longer, because by now, you’ve built the discipline and habit of learning. It’s time to go deeper.
- Starting from Lesson 12, something exciting happens: I switch to teaching fully in Chinese. Don’t panic! You’ll be ready—and yes, I’ve got subtitles (characters, pinyin, and English) in case you need them.
- You’ll read a sweet little story series (more like a fiction) while learning tons of new words, structures, and ways to express yourself.
By the end, you will:
✔️ Give a more impressive self-introduction (beyond “where are you from” “what you like”)
✔️ Share your routines, past experiences, and describe your environment
✔️ Navigate new places with confidence
✔️ Make actual Chinese-speaking friends
✔️ Invite people to hang out—in Chinese!
All of this takes just 120 days—4 months.
Four months from now, your life could look completely different.
👉 You might discover a lifelong passion (like me—I started learning Thai just out of boredom, and 12 years later I’m still here, living in Thailand!).
👉 You might open new doors of opportunity.
👉 You might meet new people and step into a whole new world.

What Our Students Say
Some Questions Before Starting Off Your Mandarin Journey
🙋♂️ What is the format of this course?
👉 This course bundle includes two parts: The Ultimate Handbook I and The Ultimate Handbook II.
- The Ultimate Handbook I is a 50-day challenge.
- The Ultimate Handbook II continues with a 70-day challenge.
Each day, you’ll either watch a ~10-minute video lesson or complete focused exercises. Such as practicing Chinese characters, reviewing with audio flashcards and writing homework, or doing speaking practice.
You only need 30 minutes to 1 hour per day to complete each day’s challenge and make consistent progress without feeling overwhelmed.
🙋 How much time do I need to finish this course?
👉 If you follow the lesson plan, the course is designed as a 120-day challenge, so ideally, you’ll finish in about 4 months.
However, especially in The Ultimate Handbook II, the final 10 units focus heavily on speaking. By that point, you'll have built up enough vocabulary and sentence patterns to express yourself more deeply. The speaking and writing assignments in these lessons can also be more demanding, so they may require more time and focus.
You may want to take a few rest days throughout the course, which is completely normal and even encouraged.
So realistically, expect to complete the course in 120 to 150 days (around 4–5 months) depending on your pace.
🙋♀️ I’m a complete beginner. Can I study this course?
👉 YES! This course is designed specifically for complete beginners. It’s structured to give you a strong foundation and finally help you move past the beginner stage—once and for all.
🙋♂️ Do I need to know Pinyin (the Chinese phonetic writing) before I start?
👉 Not at all. You don’t need any prior knowledge of Chinese. While we won’t spend hours memorizing Pinyin, you'll learn to read and use it naturally as we go.
🙋♂️ I’m at an intermediate level. Can I still use this course?
👉 Well, it depends. I’ve worked with many students who have passed HSK 3 or higher but still don’t feel confident speaking Chinese. If you’ve studied for a while but still hesitate to speak up, The Ultimate Handbook II is perfect for you. It gives you structured speaking practice using vocabulary and grammar you likely already know, helping you finally think and speak in Chinese with confidence.
